Tampa Birth Photography

One Love Doula Services has teamed up with a talented, passionate photographer for Tampa birth photography services at your home, birth center or hospital birth.

Kaylin Martin is a birth Doula as well as birth photographer who offers our One Love family with birth photography as part of our Could You Be Loved package.

A note from Kaylin: As a photographer I enjoy the opportunity to capture timeless memories through birth photography. Labor is such a unique experience and I am honored to share that space with you as a member of your support team.

Birth Photography FAQ

Why birth photography?

Birth Photography is a documentary style photography session that begins during active labor (about 6 cm dilation) and continues through the actual birth. My birth stories cover your entire birthing experience including the two hours after your new baby’s life in a beautiful and unposed style. Birth photography is about telling a story..YOUR STORY. It captures the first time you meet the love of your life, the first time you hold them in your arms and so many more first. These little details will be frozen in time for you to look back at forever.

Do any images get posted online?

ONLY with your consent and approval, yes. I recognize that birth is sacred. As someone who celebrates birth, of course I want to share powerful images to empower other birthing people. HOWEVER, I absolutely do not share anything online without you viewing the image first and approving every possible image to be shared. Some clients want all images kept private and that is fine.  I do encourage birthing people to consider sharing their birth stories and images to help educate others but it is not necessary.

Will we meet before the birth?

Absolutely! I want you and your support team to feel as comfortable with me and as confident with the process as possible. I do not want you to feel like I am a random stranger invading your sacred birth space. All birth photography sessions with One Love Doula Services include an in-person meet up and mini maternity session. This helps you become comfortable with both my presence during your birth and my photography style.

When should I book you? 

As soon as you have a due date! I only take 3 clients a month so reaching out to me as soon as possible will ensure you can be one of them.
