Celebrating International Women’s Day with the One Love Doulas
At One Love Doula Services, International Women’s Day isn’t just another day, it’s a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. As a team dedicated to supporting, uplifting, and empowering Tampa Bay Area families, we are celebrating this special day by honoring the strength, resilience, and beauty of women everywhere.
This year, we're celebrating in a few special ways:
Giving Back – We’ve teamed up with community partners such as Sprigs Life and Wildbird® Baby Carriers to donate postpartum care products and baby carriers to members of our community.
Community Support – We’re offering free community events throughout the year including a Postpartum Planning Workshop, Baby Wearing 101, Mommy and Me Yoga Classes, and so much more! Stay up to date on all our events by joining our newsletter.
Spreading Awareness – We’re using our platform to amplify the voices of mothers and families by sharing their stories, celebrating their triumphs, and shedding light on the challenges they still face in maternal health. One of the ways we use our voice to support women and mothers is by having real, honest conversations about raising kids in today’s world on The Motherhood Kit Podcast.
Self-Care & Sisterhood – As birth workers, we pour so much love into others. Our founder, Yamel, recognizes our efforts and pours that love back into us. Over the holidays last year we were treated to a relaxing spa day and delicious dinner with our team. We continue to work as a team to develop our skills and improve our education together, so we can work as a cohesive team to serve the wonderful women of Tampa Bay.
International Women’s Day is about recognizing the power of women, especially those bringing life into the world. Today, and every day, we stand in One Love, One Strength, and One Sisterhood.
