We're going to the Expo, come visit us!

The Prego Expo is a national pregnancy, parenting, and baby event. When I first participated in the Expo I was pregnant myself (more then three years ago). It was so much fun! Juliana and Samantha are the creators of  The Prego Expo and Moms themselves. They felt there was a need for a one stop shop to aid in helping expecting parents and new parents get as much information as possible for this huge life changing event, which we typically only have nine months to plan. Let me tell you, they work so hard to make this event extremely special for Moms and their families. From the selection of vendors so you aren't overwhelmed with many that offer the same services, educational seminars, huge giveaways, down to the bumps and babies fashion show (which is my personal favorite part of the expo).

Now, let me give you some tips to survive this big event:

Plan ahead- purchase your ticket if necessary, and block out time in your day so you're early enough to find parking and beat lines, as well as scope everything out and see which giveaway items you want to enter for. Also make a list of the services or items you REALLY want to learn more about. Are you thinking of encapsulating your placenta, or do you want to meet representatives from a local hospital or perhaps talk to breast pump reps. A list will help you by staying on task and visiting those booths first and then just strolling through the remainder of the event and vendors.

Bring cash! Most vendors accept electronic payment, but there can be the occasional small business (which I always find something I like for the littles) that may only accept cash for their goods.

Wear comfortable walking shoes and clothing. The event can get crowded, and you may want to walk around vendor booths several times, you don't want to get home worn out. Comfortable walking shoes will make sure and support your feet and back, and since we are in Florida, airy clothing will keep you cool (the event is indoors by the way).

Bring snacks and water, although many vendors will have some sort of snack and maybe even water, you want to be prepared so that you always keep that bump fed and well hydrated.

Wear your baby! If you do have a little one, we recommend wearing them that way you have your hands free and don't have to worry about bumping into people with a stroller.

Bring a friend or your partner! the friend doesn't also have to be expecting, but it will be nice to have someone with you to discuss baby products with or available services offered throughout the expo.

Be ready to have fun, my team and I will be there ready for you all to come visit, discuss our services and just meet you and take some silly photos. If anything, please stop by our booth if you need some sweets and be able to get off of your feet for a little bit. See you at The Prego Expo!
