Tampa Babymoon Ideas | Tampa Family Outings & Date Night Spots

Whew! You made it through the 2018, pregnant and all! Now, that we are into 2019, we
thought it might fun to give you some ideas of places to take a Babymoon before you welcome that new
baby into your hearts and homes.

Many couples tend to take their Tampa babymoon, or last vacation pre-baby
during their 2 nd trimester or early in the 3rd trimester.  Couples use the time to relax, connect with their partner and just enjoy themselves!

One Love has compiled a list of a few local-ish places that we thought would be great spots
for that upcoming Babymoon you’ve been contemplating…

Beach getaway:

The Hollander Hotel, St. Petersburg. This boutique hotel right in downtown St.Pete has unique
rooms, great food, and is close to all the things in wonderful downtown St. Petersburg.

Opal Sands Resort, Clearwater Beach. If you’re looking to warm up, relax, and enjoy the spa; this
may be the place for your Tampa babymoon! Start your day with breakfast overlooking the gulf and then enjoy spending the day in a private poolside cabana (man! can we have a baby moon even if aren’t pregnant?).

– Air BnB, Dunedin. If you’re looking for those small town vibes- look into booking an Air BnB in
Dunedin, FL  and you’ll love exploring this local gem. Dunedin is full of art and local joints that will
delight all the sense.

The Cottages at Siesta Key. Think quiet, romantic, low-key, & the beach- Yes, please!  You can even bring
your dog on this Tampa babymoon, too. While you’re there, try The Rosemary restaurant which is a local gem known for their American Bistro style from scratch breakfast and lunch selections. If you stop by let them know One Love sent you and please report back letting us know how you liked it.

Silver Springs State Park. If you’re more the outdoorsy type, there are several state parks across
the state that have cabin rentals, or obviously tent camping if you’re wanting. If you don’t mind
a little drive and adventure, then this is the Babymoon for you. Nature, you, your partner and a
cozy campfire may be the perfectly calm way for you to spend this time with the one you love.

City Life:

-Last is a Tampa boutique hotel. If you’re looking for a more city feel, with loads of nearby restaurants and quick access to the beautiful Bayshore BLVD, head on over to the Epicurean hotel in the heart of Tampa, right across from the famous Berns restaurant.

Those are just a few of the many, many places our beautiful Sunshine State has to offer as locations for a
Babymoon. A Babymoon shouldn’t be stressful, so be sure to plan ahead, check in with your Provider,
and plan to do nothing but enjoy a sweet time. Hope this helps! And drop us a note to let us know about
your  Babymoon.
